Jeff Christian
Senior Instructor

Jeff began training in 1983 under Stephen Hayes, and then in 1986 began studying under Larry Turner and Kevin Schneider. He received his godan (5th degree black belt) in 1993 and his ju-sandan (13th degree black belt) in 2006.

Rob Flanagan
Senior Instructor

Rob began training in 1987 under Larry Turner in Dayton, Ohio. He received his godan (5th degree black belt) in 2001 and he received his kyudan (9th degree black belt) in 2006. He moved to NYC in 2002 and has been a senior instructor at Muzosa since then.

Rob Flanagan

Josh Frank
Assistant Instructor

Josh began training with Jeff Christian in 1998, when Muzosa wasn't a formal dojo yet, just a training group. In 2006, Josh was promoted to yondan (4th degree black belt).

 

Edwin Sostre
Assistant Instructor

Edwin began training in 1983 under various instructors before training regularly under Billy Shearer in Atlanta, Georgia in 2000. Edwin moved to New York and later joined Muzosa in 2005, and was promoted to sandan (3rd degree black belt) in 2007.

 

Ray Keung
Assistant Instructor

Ray began training at New York Budo in 1999, before joining Muzosa in 2000. Ray was promoted to nidan (2nd degree black belt) in 2007.

 

Alex Phinn
Assistant Instructor

Alex began training at Muzosa in 2005, and was promoted to nidan in 2007.

 

Curtis Abu
Assistant Instructor

Curtis began training on his own, joined Muzosa in 2005, and was promoted to shodan (1st degree black belt) that same year.

 

Eric Kidhart
Assistant Instructor

Eric began training at Muzosa in 2003 and was promoted to shodan in 2007. Eric moved with to Japan in 2008 with his wife and will train while he's there.

Assistant Instructor

Lester began training at Muzosa in 2005 and was promoted to shodan in 2007.
