Muzosa Dojo has several black belt instructors who teach their own classes, having spent years studying at Muzosa.
Edwin Sostre Assistant Instructor
Edwin began training in 1983 under various instructors before training regularly under Billy Shearer in Atlanta, Georgia in 2000. Edwin moved to New York and later joined Muzosa in 2005, and was promoted to yondan in 2010. He's currently living and teaching in the Pittsburgh area.

Buster Nelson Assistant Instructor
Buster began training at Muzosa in 2002 and was promoted to yondan (4th degree black belt) in 2010. He's currently living and teaching in Middletown, CT.

Naim Brown Assistant Instructor
Naim began training in 2001 and was promoted to yondan (4th degree black belt) in 2010. He lives in Harlem and teaches Muzosa classes in the Bronx.

Alex Phinn Assistant Instructor
Alex began training at Muzosa in 2005, and was promoted to yonndan (4th degree black belt) in 20011. A graduate of Pratt Institute, Alex teaches Muzosa classes in Brooklyn.

Curtis Abu Assistant Instructor
Alex began training at Muzosa in 2005, and was promoted to sandan (3rd degree black belt) in 2011. Curtis is also fluent in Japanese and runs the translation service C.A. Honyaku.
