Make these wrist drills part of your routine
This article by Jake Boly at BarBend.com is a great one to keep in your collection. It’s short, it’s simple, it’s easy to follow, and it’s actually useful. All of the stretches and mobility drills can be done when you have a spare moment, so there’s really no excuse not to add some of these to your routine.
Wrist mobility is sometimes neglected, but tight wrist can make wrist locks much more painful and even simple movements more difficult. Beyond martial arts, wrist mobility can help with strength training and other aspects of physical conditioning (BarBend is a strength training website after all).
